DON M. JONES
Don M. Jones began his career in the United States Air Force. Upon his
return to civilian life, he graduated from the University of Alabama School
of Law in 1962 where he served on the Law Review. He began his law
practice in Birmingham at Markstein, Cain & Christian. In 1972 he moved to
Georgia where he has been a much admired fixture in the Gwinnett and Walton County legal community ever since. Mr. Jones' lengthy and incomparable
experience has allowed him to gain knowledge in almost every area of the law.
Among other things, he has been the city attorney for Walnut Grove, and sat
on the tripartite committee prior to the establishment of the current public
defender system. He is a member of the elite Georgia Trial Lawyers'
Association. He is a trained mediator, and has been hand-selected by judges
to litigate complex criminal matters. Mr. Jones is married with six adult
daughters.
LORI B. DUFF
Lori B. Duff graduated from Duke University and then attended Emory Law
School, where she graduated in 1994. Mrs. Duff began her legal career in
the Juvenile Division of the DeKalb County District Attorney's Office, where
she quickly established herself as a state-wide recognized expert in juvenile
law and procedure, becoming involved in the legislative process and teaching
classes for the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council. Mrs. Duff left DeKalb County
in 2005 to begin her private practice career. She is regularly appointed by
the local Superior, Juvenile, and Probate Courts as a guardian ad litem for
minors involved in the legal system in domestic relations matters and other
civil matters, underscoring her recognition as a caring advocate for children.
She has also been a Judge Pro Tempore in the DeKalb County Juvenile Court.
In addition to juvenile and domestic relations matters, Mrs. Duff also has a particular interest in probate litigation and related issues. Mrs. Duff is married
to a retired DeKalb County Police Officer, and has two young children.

Jennifer Curry began her post-UGA career as a probation officer in Barrow
County. After getting a taste of the legal system, she attended Georgia
State University School of Law and graduated in 2003. She then worked as
an Assistant District Attorney in Barrow County before moving to the Gwinnett
County Solicitor's Office. Ms. Curry is extremely knowledgeable about criminal
law and procedure, as well as the minute particulars of DUI defense and
drivers' license law. At her best when on trial, she is a powerful advocate in the courtroom for her clients. Ms. Curry is a native of Fayetteville.
